2023 International Math Open for Young Achievers (IMOYA) ONLINE COMPETITION RESULTS

In a thrilling display of mathematical prowess, six countries recently participated in the Online International Math Open For Young Achievers (IMOYA) 2023. The competition, which was held virtually on March 25, 2023 due to the ongoing pandemic, saw participants from Taiwan, Malaysia, India, Bulgaria, Thailand, and South Africa go head-to-head in a series of challenging math problems. Due to the complicated procedure of conducting a team contest online, the competition was held as an INDIVIDUAL Contest only. Each participant was tested on a range of topics, including algebra, geometry, number theory and recreation mathematics. The problems were designed to be both challenging and thought-provoking, pushing the participants to their limits.

Despite the lack of a team contest challenge, the competition was still fierce. Each country fielded their best and brightest young mathematicians, all vying for the top spot. The participants were judged on their individual scores with the highest overall score determining the winner.

The Online IMOYA 2023 was a testament to the power of mathematics to bring people together, even in the midst of a global pandemic. It showcased the incredible talent and dedication of young mathematicians from around the world, and served as a reminder of the importance of STEAM education in today's world. Congratulations to all the participants, and we look forward to seeing what they will achieve in the future!
